HomePro365 Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 10/31/2025
Last Updated: 11/12/2025

1. Introduction

HomePro365 (“we,” “our,” “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the HomePro365 app (“App”) and website (collectively, the “Service”).

Our goal is to make home management simple and organized by syncing your household tasks, events, and reminders with Google Calendar while protecting your personal data.

This policy complies with Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, and applicable privacy laws.

2. Information We Collect

a. Account Information

When you create a HomePro365 account or sign in with Google, we collect:

  • Your Google account email address (via userinfo.email)

  • Your name (if provided by Google)

  • Your HomePro365 account preferences and household member information

We do not collect or store your password if you use Google Sign-In.

b. Calendar Information (Google Calendar Integration)

When you connect your Google Calendar, HomePro365 may access and manage:

  • Calendars created by HomePro365 (e.g., “HomePro365 – Dad,” “HomePro365 – Emma,” and “HomePro365 – General”)

  • Events created or modified by the app (title, description, start/end time, and assigned member)

We only access and edit calendars or events that HomePro365 creates or manages — never your personal or work calendars unless you explicitly choose them.

c. Usage Data

We may collect limited technical data (such as device type, browser, and app usage) to maintain system performance and troubleshoot errors. This data does not include personal or Google Calendar content.

3. How We Use Information

HomePro365 uses collected information solely to:

  • Create and manage HomePro365 calendars and events for each family member

  • Maintain a “General” calendar for unassigned tasks or shared household events

  • Sync task changes and completions between HomePro365 and your Google Calendar

  • Identify your account and link it with the correct Google user profile

  • Send account or maintenance notifications (e.g., inactivity notices)

We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, marketing, analytics, or data resale.

4. Calendar Creation and Inactivity Policy

a. Calendars We Create

With your consent, HomePro365 may create the following:

  • Individual calendars for each household member

  • A “HomePro365 – General” calendar for shared or unassigned items

Only HomePro365 manages these calendars, and users can delete or disconnect them at any time.

b. Inactive Accounts

To maintain privacy and data hygiene:

  • If your account becomes inactive (no sign-in or sync for 90 days), we may delete only the calendars that HomePro365 created.

  • Before doing so, we will provide notice at least 14 days in advance and offer options to:

    • Keep the calendars active

    • Export events

    • Allow removal

We never delete or modify any calendars we did not create.

5. How We Protect Your Data

  • All communication with Google Calendar is encrypted via HTTPS.

  • OAuth tokens are securely stored and encrypted, used only to maintain your calendar sync.

  • Tokens are deleted immediately when you disconnect Google or delete your HomePro365 account.

  • Access is limited to essential system functions; no data is shared with external parties.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data.
We may share limited data with secure service providers (e.g., hosting or database vendors) only to operate HomePro365, and only under strict confidentiality and data protection agreements.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

  • You can disconnect your Google account at any time from within the app.

  • Upon disconnection, HomePro365 immediately deletes all OAuth tokens and stored Google data identifiers.

  • You may request full deletion of your HomePro365 account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@homepro365.com.

  • When your account or integration is deleted, only HomePro365-created calendars and events are affected; your personal calendars remain untouched.

8. Children’s Privacy

HomePro365 is intended for family use under parental management. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children under 13. All integrations and accounts must be managed by an adult household member.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of HomePro365 after updates indicates acceptance of the new policy.
